What we clean
Silk, cashmere, wool, linen, viscose, tweed, velvet, sequinned and beaded fabrics, leather and suede trims, structured tailoring, delicate knits and evening wear. Shirts, trousers, dresses, gowns, two-piece and three-piece suits, jackets, coats, waistcoats, skirts, ties, scarves, and leather handbags. How we clean — the luxury way
- Inspection. Each garment checked for stains, loose threads, weak seams, missing buttons. We flag repairs before cleaning, not after.
- Stain-targeting. Spot treatment before the main clean. Red wine, oil, ink, makeup, grass — handled by hand, on a spotting board, with solvents matched to the fabric.
- Perc-free clean. Hydrocarbon-based cleaning solution — no perchloroethylene, no harsh chemical residue, safe on delicate fibres. Wet cleaning for fabrics that respond to water.
- Hand-finish. Pressed, steamed and shaped by hand. Edges crisp, drape restored, no shine marks, no over-pressed collars. Finished on a form, not a machine.
Perc-free process
Perchloroethylene — “perc” — has been the default dry-cleaning solvent for decades and is increasingly being phased out worldwide for health and environmental reasons. Luxe uses a modern hydrocarbon-based process that cleans gently, leaves no solvent smell on your clothes, and is safer for our team, your home, and the environment. Every garment leaves the plant residue-free.

How long does dry cleaning take?
Standard turnaround is 2–3 business days. Quick service returns clothes the next business day for a small surcharge; rush same-day service is available where capacity allows — call ahead.
Is your dry cleaning safe for silk, cashmere and wool?
Yes. We use a perc-free hydrocarbon process matched to the fibre, and hand-finish every delicate garment. Silk, cashmere, wool, linen and viscose are cleaned daily without damage, shrinkage or felting.
How does pickup and delivery work?
Book a collection window online or by phone. A uniformed team member arrives in a Luxe garment bag, tags and scans each piece, cleans at our Neutral Bay facility, and returns everything on hangers in protective bags to your door. Do you remove stubborn stains?
We treat red wine, oil, ink, makeup, grass, coffee and most common stains by hand on a spotting board before the main clean. Some stains — particularly those that have been heat-set or attempted with household remedies — may not be fully removable. We always inspect first and tell you what’s realistic before cleaning.
Can I send designer or couture pieces?
Absolutely — designer, couture and heritage pieces are what we were built for. Every high-value garment is assessed individually, cleaned by hand where required, and finished on a tailored form. Photos in advance via the quote form help us confirm approach and price.
What if something goes wrong?
Flagged on arrival, not on collection. We inspect every garment before cleaning, note any pre-existing issues, and check again before return. If you aren’t satisfied with the result we re-clean free of charge — that’s the Luxe Care Promise.

What does Luxe dry cleaning include?
Every garment is inspected on intake, pre-treated for visible spots, cleaned in the solvent matched to its fibre, and finished by hand. We include buttons, hangers and reusable garment covers in the base price.
What fabrics can you dry clean?
Wool, silk, cashmere, viscose, linen, polyester, rayon, acetate, velvet and technical blends. We decline garments with care labels that specifically prohibit dry cleaning unless the owner explicitly acknowledges the risk.
How does pickup and delivery dry cleaning work?
Book a pickup window online - we confirm the exact time the day before. Our driver collects your garments in a reusable Luxe bag, we clean them in our Neutral Bay atelier, and we deliver them back on hangers, typically in 3-4 days. You can track each step by SMS.
How much does dry cleaning cost in Sydney?

Typical turnaround is 3-4 days from pickup - delicate fabrics and heavy staining may take longer. For urgent items we offer Quick (48 hours) and Rush (24 hours) express with a surcharge up to +100%. Pickup and delivery run seven days a week, including public holidays; your window is confirmed the day before.
Is your dry cleaning eco-friendly?
Yes. We clean with an eco-friendly, perc-free solvent - no harsh chemicals. Hangers are reclaimed, reusable garment covers are used, and deliveries are consolidated across optimised routes to cut per-garment emissions.
